As a content provider, the Saxon State Parliament is responsible for its own content which it provides for use in accordance with § 8 Section 1 of the German Teleservices Act (Teledienstegesetz, TDG) or § 5 of the Media Service State Agreement (MDStV). This content must be distinguished from links to content provided by other providers. The Saxon State Parliament provides external content for use via links.
The Saxon State Parliament viewed the external content when it was first linked. However links are dynamic references - the external content may have been changed without the knowledge of the Saxon State Parliament.
The sole responsibility for the external content is borne by the provider offering the content. The Saxon State Parliament hereby expressly emphasises that it has no influence on the design and content of pages which are linked from its homepage. This also applies expressly for the websites of the parliamentary parties represented in the Saxon State Parliament. Before the corresponding links are added, the websites of other providers are examined to best of our knowledge. The content of other websites can be changed without the knowledge of the editorial staff. Retrospective changes of linked internet pages can mean that illegal content, or content in violation of laws can be added without the knowledge of the Saxon State Parliament. If this is the case, the Saxon State Parliament distances itself a priori from these illegal contents and contents in violation of laws. As soon as it becomes aware that a specific internet site which is linked from its site could result in civil or criminal liability, it will remove the link to these pages where this is technically possible.
The Saxon State Parliament shall not accept liability for up-to-dateness, quality, correctness and completeness of the information provided. Besides § 675 Section 2 of the German Civil Code (BGB), the Free State of Saxony and its employees are not liable for damages caused by the use or failure to use information provided in this website. The liability for breaches of official duty in accordance with § 839 of the German Civil Code (BGB) remains unaffected. Otherwise, the Saxon State Parliament is not liable for damage as a result of opening or downloading data.
